Captain's Log Supplemental Stardate -318788.81

The inevitable happened. Casper died today, and we all thought she was already fine. She was already doing her daily routine since Wednesday. Barking on our newspaper boy, chasing cats, talking to me (in her own unique language), and all things she do since she arrived here 6 yrs ago.
When I was about to feed them lunch earlier, she wasn't around. She was hiding under the car. Looking sick again. I didn't bring her to the doctor last Tuesday since she was already eating normally. The doctor said that it could be a Canine Distemper Virus. I studied the symptoms and most of them are similar to organophosphate poisoning. But I'm no doctor so I really don't know why she and Dagul died.
Before I left today, I was going to bring her a piece of bread when I saw her lying dead under the car. With blood coming out of her nose. That is definitely not Distemper. I kept blaming myself for not bringing her to the vet. She should have been checked up to know what kind of illness struck her and Dagul. It's all my fault. She might be still alive today.
Goodbye Casper. Goodbye my Pikachu. Goodbye dear friend.
