i.ph's services are not limited to providing you with blogs and photo galleries. With every i.ph account, comes a 10MB email account with POP access! Well 10MB maybe a farcry from today's standards of free email but with POP access and an easy to remember address, it's a good deal!
You can access your webmail through your control panel or by going to http://mail.i.ph. Login using your username (without the i.ph domain). The webmail looks like a modified squirrel mail interface so you'll be sending your first email in no time.
Wait a minute, Spam you say? Don't worry, i.Mail also has Spam filtering built-in to prevent unwanted emails in your inbox. You can enable your spam filter by clicking Options and Spam Filters. You can then enable all the database filters available. The filters are from databases that have fought spam eversince. They have collection of emails and DNS of known spammers all over the world. I haven't tested its spam filtering capabilities yet but you may send me spams at j3p0y@i.ph.
POP access is also available with you i.Mail account. With this, you can send and receive your emails using your favorite email client. i.Mail is just a small add-on for your i.ph blog.
There's so much more to explore with i.ph. Still I haven't finished compiling my MMS wallpapers for my i.ph blog. Stupid ASUS board. I miss my PC. :(
