Captain's Log Stardate -317448.26

My friend Glen and I have an inside joke about his curse. Sometime in October or November of 2005, he applied for a PLDT myDSL account. Unfortunately, PLDT myDSL is not available in their area. And so is Bayantel, NOW Cable, Globelines Broadband, etc. There came a time when he finally accepted his fate and the curse of the dial up connection. A few months passed and finall BayanTel called and relayed the good news. FInally, DSL is available!

He then formulates a theory that the curse will revolve within our friends, and I'm the first victim. Last Saturday, my internet went kaput. Several Destiny hardware failed causing the entire DOCSIS subscribers to lose connection the whole day. On Sunday, we lost our telephone line. A lightning struck one of the PLDT box causing to short circuit the whole phonelines of our barangay. Earlier, we lost electricity since another lightning struck an electric post.

No phones, No Internet, No Electricity... aarrggghh! CURSE!
