Status symbols are not limited to the cellphone unit you're using, but also with the network you're on. Globe Telecoms for the "sosi" type and Smart Buddy for the "masa". Globe tried to lure the "masa" to their domain by re-launching Touch Mobile and offering P0.90/SMS to any networks, flat rates and per second charging for their voice calls. But with all these value for money offers, their data rates remain unreachable for the masses.

When Smart introduced their 3G services, they offered it FREE for several months. But when Globe introduced theirs, they immediately charged subscribers with the regular call rates for video calls and dig this, P0.15/KB for browsing! Yes you get broadband speeds while browsing and downloading, but your credits will deplete faster your connection speed. P0.15KB/sec?! What the hell were they thinking?

After Smart Telecoms free 3G trial, they've unveiled yet another rates targeted for the masses. P10 per 30 minutes internet browsing on 3G or GPRS connection and P1 per MMS sent to any Smart subscriber and P2 per MMS sent to other networks. With Globe? We're stucked with P5 per MMS and P3 per MMS (GenTXT members) and their stupid P0.15Kb/sec browsing rate.

WAKE UP GLOBE! Change your stupid P0.15/Kb rate and give us P1 MMS!

kung sinong taga globe nakakabasa nito, please lang pag bigay alam sa mga boss nyo, naasar mga subscriber nila, sana manlang gayahin o mas magandang tapatan ng mas mura yung pricing ng smart sa mga services nila, hindi ko ma maximize ung celphone ko!!!
