Captain's Log Supplemental Stardate -317508.65

At first look, it looks like a GameBoy Micro, but it's not. It's called the One Station. A video game store in SM North EDSA's CyberZone has been selling these knock-offs at P1,999 each. The handheld is actually a portable Famicom/NES and uses a cartridge specially made for the game system. It's powered by 3 AAA batteries and can be plugged into a TV set, for a bigger game screen.

I was surprised to see that this unlicensed Nintendo product is also being sold inside SM North EDSA's newly opened SM HyperMarket... It's displayed inside this cabinet together with the PSP and Nintendo DS:

The One Station is priced higher in SM HyperMarket than the one inside SM CyberZone:

Just remembered a saying I read somewhere, "If you can build them, the Chinese can copy them". HAHAHAHA! These fakes all came from China, the same as those cheap ipod shuffle ripoffs being sold at TipidPC.com
