Captain's Log Stardate -316742.17

ISAW reported last September 13 that 3700+ Destiny Cable Internet accounts have been hacked. It's September 28 and we have yet to receive any notice from Destiny to change our passwords. I can even still check the mails of the accounts listed on ISAW's website.

Nice. I bet someone (*hint* watch youtube video above *hint*) mistakenly sent the whole database to an egroup. Oh wait, LOOK!

Captain's Log Stardate -316682.29

Filipino fans jumped for joy when the planned Shaider remake was scrapped. No more bastardization of one of our childhood memories.

But the horror didn't stop there. Instead, TOEI granted GMA-7 rights to create an original series based on the descendants of Shaider with the same cast. We were all anxious to see how GMA-7 would handle this though job until Inquirer.net released a teaser photo today.

OMGWTF?! Look at their badge. It's a Star Trek communicator rip-off! Am I surprised? Naah... Probably, this costume is from the same staff and director who gave us these rip-offs:

I'm excited to see Vavilos. I bet it looks exactly like a USS Enterprise starship that transforms into an uber-huge toaster.

Our politicians are getting high-tech! But their staff seems to be lost. According to their research, Boybastos has been giving access to hardcore YouTube porn. C'mon. YouTube deletes even sexy videos, much more hardcore ones? -_- "Connivance of cybersex operators?" ROFLMAO!

Boybastos.com is currently down and has released this message on their website:

Mga mahal naming boys bastos, masyado po tumaas ang traffic ng site dahil sa libreng publicity na binigay satin ni Senadora, GMA News, at iba pang mga istasyson ng radyo. Dahil dito, baka ma-kansela ang account natin sa ating hosting provider at lalo nang magkandaloko-loko. Pahinga muna tayo mga kaibigan.

Maraming site dyan na pwede nyo bisitahin, alam nyo naman na siguro yun. Babalik po tayo (online) paglipas ng ilang araw.

Shutting down these websites will not stop online pornography. I suggest stronger laws. Boybastos.com is nothing compared to other and much popular online websites and forums that offer the same content. And there's these Yahoo! Groups and other mailing lists that have hundreds of thousands of members.

Laws against peeping toms that distribute the videos and photos over the internet, people who distribute / post personal private videos on the internet or over mobile phones, cyber-terrorism, etc. should be made ASAP! And please, stop bullying these small websites. Boybastos is not even hosted in the Philippines, so how would you shutdown this site? By the way, Yehey.com offered downloadble scandal videos two years ago, no one cried. ;;)

Educate parents and cyber cafe owners to install internet filters. That's the only way as of the moment.
