Goodbye Luigi

Our oldest dog, Luigi, died this afternoon. Out of nowhere, he experienced seizures that lasted hours. It started at 1PM. He didn't ate his lunch and went directly under the car. When I called his name, he was like being electrocuted. His body movements show all symptoms of an epileptic attack and foam was already forming around his mouth.
I called 3 vets but non of them answered the phone. My uncle told me that let the seizure finish because there's nothing I could do to stop it. He said that he'll accompany me next-day to their vet at West Ave.
When his condition stabilized, I carried Luigi on an open are where he wouldn't hurt himself when a seizure attacks. Just as when he was breathing normally, a seizure again attacks around 6PM. His body became stiff, threw up lots of water, urinated and finally stopped breathing.
He'll be buried tomorrow next to his sister Casper, who also died of unknown cause.
Thanks for the 9 years of friendship Luigi. I'll miss you.

Sorry for the lose. Luigi is a good dog. We will never forget him
You must have felt so helpless when you couldn’t get hold of a vet. I hope it’s some comfort to you that you were by his side, and he knew in his doggie way that he was loved.
Last August, I held my beloved cat, Nomad who’d been with me for fourteen years, as the vet put her to sleep because we could no longer maintain her quality of life, and she was suffering. I still cry when I think about it:-(
@reward rebel - yeah, i was so helpless that time. I stayed with him for more than 30 minutes after he stopped breathing, continuously calling his name and shaking him. I was hoping he'd stand up and walk. But he never did :(
I'll miss him especially at night when I lock our gate. He'd accompany me from our door to the gate and back. I felt secure whenever he's around, thinking he's some kind of an older brother watching over me.
