 Most people who have received an invite code from approved ümobile subscribers have been reporting login issues -- and I'm one of them. Mr. Angelo Teves of ümobile called me last night to clear things out, including the page to invite your friends that mysteriously vanished which Mike mentioned here on my blog.
Apparently, newly registered users who have used an invite code to register cannot immediately login to their ümobile account. Your application needs to be approved by ümobile. The first need to verify the information you have entered during the registration process.
Once your account has been approved, you will receive an email from ümobile. They will also call you to inform your account approval. The same thing will happen if your application has been declined.
Upon confirmation, new users will now be able to login to their account. Users will be able to update and change their profile information, change mobile number, etc.
ümobile will deliver the SIM card to approved applicants for free. Yes FREE. It will be delivered to the time and place specified by the subscriber. (I hope you deliver a free 3G phone to me too :D )
Angelo also informed me that they have temporarily removed the invite page of approved subscribers. They have detected a website security breach and are currently hard at work to restore the pages. Hopefully, the invite page will be up this week or early next week.
To those who have already used their precious ümobile invite code, relax. All your applications have been received and are currently being processed. Always check your inbox or spam folder for ümobile's email confirmation and keep your registered contact numbers active :)
While I was creating that hearty version of ümobile's logo, I received another email from ümobile. This time it's from Ms. Angelica Pinlac,
Hi Jepoy,
We found out that we have your application already, so no worries!
Note that your application is still subject to approval. You cannot log-in until you are approved. And if your application is ok, we will send an email to confirm your approval and the details on how you can get your FREE ümobile SIM.

Angelica ümobile Marketing I do hope that ümobile continues this kind of customer service. Different from their parent companies, Smart and PLDT. Imagine the level of support they have given me even though my application is still being processed. Nice one ümobile :)

I agree with you jepoy, their customer service is fast and you know they are very war. kahit hindi ka pa subscriber, ganon na sila agad!

they are so nice actually, i went on their event last saturday, they are so good!
You can now invite your friends! umobile enable the again the service!
