ADVERTISEMENTS

Captain's Log Stardate -315379.71

Singapore and Toronto, Ontario CANADA, January 17, 2008 /FSC/ - Oceanlake Commerce Inc., announced today that it has entered into a managed services agreement with Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc (DMPI). Under the terms of the agreement, Digitel Mobile Philippines, also known for its corporate brand Sun Cellular, will provide OceanLake MobileMail as a value-added service to its subscribers.

OceanLake MobileMail is an affordable, real-time, push e-mail service that will empower Sun Cellular subscribers with the ability to send and receive e-mail with any internet-enabled mobile phone or PDA at a fraction of the cost of other solutions in the market place.

"Our agreement today with Sun Cellular is indicative of our commitment to expand the global reach of our popular MobileMail service for the benefit of both carriers and their subscribers," said Tony Poulos, Managing Director of OceanLake Asia. "We look forward to a longstanding relationship with Sun Cellular that adds new revenue streams for their business and strengthens customer loyalty with an affordable, real-time, mobile e-mail service to its corporate and consumer base."

Unlike competitive offerings, OceanLake's MobileMail service is configured simply through a web interface and does not install on devices. With OceanLake's MobileMail service, subscribers are getting 'smart phone like' email functionality at a fraction of the cost.

OceanLake's Asia Pacific headquarters are in Singapore and will be providing local implementation and support services for Sun Cellular.

On March 29, 2003, DMPI commercially launched its wireless mobile services under the Sun Cellular brand offering the latest in GSM technology, provisioning voice services (local, national, international calls), messaging services (short text or multi-media messaging), outbound and inbound International Roaming, and Value Added Services.
