Globe Telecom and Tata Communications announced today their new submarine cable system called the Tata Global Network - Intra Asia (TGN-IA) and will connect the Philippines to Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Japan.
The new cable system is designed to have a total capacity of 3.84 Terabits per second and will double Globe's current 50Gbps. I wonder how this will affect Destiny Cable Internet subscribers like me since Solid Broadband Corp. depends on Globe regarding all internet connections.
How about giving us our regular 4Mbps back huh destiny?
