Forget Google Maps, forget Yahoo! Messenger, forget Garmin XT... because I've found the most useful and best mobile application out there! Excited?
It's called CRACKED SCREENYou can use this little application to show a cracked screen image on your cell phone. It looks really realistic especially when the display backlight is turned off.
Imagine a friend's face when he sees your cracked screen or better yet after you install this application on HIS phone. He will pick up his phone and see the cracked screen. For a few seconds his heart rate will go up two times :).
Tip: press 0 to change the image and any other key to exit the application
Click here to download. The possibilities of this app is unbelievable! Imagine, using up your phone's resources just to display a cracked screen! Of course you can always create a simple wallpaper to emulate a cracked screen but no, CRACKED SCREEN IS BETTER!
Just launch the application and viola! You have a very useful cracked screen displayed on your mobile phone. No need to create special wallpapers!
I was inspired when I saw this app. In fact, I immediately signed up for Globe Labs so I can also create some very useful apps like the Cracked Screen. Some of the projects I have in mind are,
- Sheep - Just count the jumping sheeps. Perfect for insomniacs
- Pet Ant - watch your pet ant walk anywhere on your mobile screen. Imagine a mobile phone version of a Tamagotchi
- Dry Paint - An application that will emulate a fence with wet paint. You watch the paint dry in real time. Very useful if you have lots of spare time.
If you want to develop your own mobile application and earn at the same time, register now at Globe Labs.
BTW, I'm serious about those apps.
