We used the money we've collected to buy food and medicines for the families living at Barangay Sta. Lucia - Novaliches, Quezon City. We wanted to help everyone but due to our limited resources, we asked the help of their Barangay Captain so we can give the relief goods to the families who need help the most. All in all, we were able to pack for 150 families (pictures here) and distributed it last October 14, 2009 with Lalaine and Glen. We may not have given these people their homes back, but let's all just think that for at least one day, we've helped 150 families.
You can still donate directly to the Philippine National Red Cross via PayPal using the widget below. Supplies are already running low and there are still a lot of people who need help, especially those living in Northern Luzon, Philippines.
We won't take credit for this simple relief mission, because this will not be possible if weren't for you guys. Thank you to those who sent donations through PayPal, LBC and Globe G-Cash. Thank you to those who sent hundreds of used clothes. Thank you to those who donated canned goods and sacks of rice. You guys know who you are.
Keep helping and let's all keep the Bayanihan Spirit alive! And always remember,
