Expiring and vanishing prepaid credits has been one of the most common problems a prepaid mobile subscriber encounters at least once. When I was still in college, more than P200 of my prepaid mobile credits expired. Those days are now over, well at least with Globe, with the introduction of prepaid offers such as Immortal Load, ImmortalTXT10 and ImmortalCall+.
The title of these offers are self explanatory. IMMORTAL. NO EXPIRY.
These "Immortal" promos are perfect for people who are on a tight budget. Imagine for as low as P10, you'll get 50 Globe/TM SMS plus 10 SMS to all networks that don't expire. Regular loads have validity, for example, your P10 will only be valid for 10 days. But if you convert that P10 to ImmortalTXT, you'll get 60 SMS that will never expire.
Now, how about we maximize these immortal packages even further? Do you know that for P125, you can get as many as 500 Globe/TM SMS, 50 SMS to other networks, and 25 minutes worth of Globe/TM calls that won't expire?
Globe currently has the following "immortal" packages for prepaid/Tattoo subscribers:
ImmortalTXT P10
- 50 SMS Globe/TM
- 10 SMS other networks (can also be used to Globe/TM)
ImmortalCall+ P15
- 50 SMS Globe/TM
- 5 minutes consumable Globe/TM calls
Both of these promos can be availed over and over. As long as you have enough prepaid credits, you can register for ImmortalTXT and ImmortalCall+.
Now let's do the math.
ImmortalTXT 10 costs P10 per registration. Each successful registration will give you 50 SMS to Globe/TM and 10 SMS to all networks (including Globe/TM). Register for this package 5 times. It would cost you P50 and you'll get a total of 250 SMS to Globe/TM and 50 SMS to all networks.
ImmortalCall+ costs P15 per registration. Each successful registration will give you 50 SMS to Globe/TM and 5 minutes worth of calls to Globe/TM. Again, register for this package 5 times. Total cost will be P75 and you'll get a total of 250 SMS to Globe/TM and 25 minutes worth of calls to Globe/TM.
P50 for ImmortalTXT plus P75 for ImmortalCall+ is P125. That P125 translates to 500 SMS and 25 minutes worth of calls to Globe/TM subscribers. Plus you'll get the normal free text from Globe which can be used to other networks as well as within the Globe/TM network.
- 500 Globe/TM SMS
- 50 SMS to ALL networks
- 25 minutes to Globe/TM
ALL OF THESE FOR JUST P125. And the best part? They don't expire! All you need to do is maintain P1 regular load to send an SMS or P3 to make a call.
But wait, there's more! If you are to reload your account via AutoloadMAX on P40 denominations, you'll get 20 free SMS to all networks. Downside is that the special P40 load is valid only for 15 days.
Anyway, if you reload P40 four times via AutoloadMAX, you'll get an additional 80 free SMS. Now, register for ImmortalTXT and ImmortalCall+ five times each.
Total:
- P160 - P125 = P35 regular load (will expire in 15 days assuming you have zero balance when you load P40 four times)
- 500 Globe/TM SMS
- 130 regular free SMS to ALL networks (50 SMS from ImmortalTXT plus 80 SMS from reloading P40 four times)
- 25 minutes Globe/TM
You can also use your G-Cash to reload your account. Reloading via GCASH will produce Immortal Load. No need to explain, but if you insist. Immortal Load, well, is immortal. NO EXPIRY.
You can convert P150 worth of GCASH to Immortal Load then convert that to ImmortalTXT and ImmortalCall+ 5x each and you'll get immortalized. As Globe's tagline says, "In this YOUniverse, YOU never end."
I just hope they create another package, Immortal SIM. Register your SIM for XXXX pesos then it will never expire. Hey Globe, you listening?
