Captain's Log Stardate -313352.02

After all the stupid surveys, bickering and mudslinging, the campaign period is finally over. For months, I've been considering Mar Roxas until something stupid happened. He gave way to ~~a slacker and an incompetent~~ an inexperienced Noynoy Aquino.

I've been a fan of Bayani Fernando ever since he became MMDA chair so obviously, he was my next best choice. But again, Mr. Fernando opted to run for VP. Unlike Mar Roxas, Bayani Fernando gave way to a much better choice --Senator Richard Gordon. I then said to myself, "Hey! Perfect combo! Gordon and Bayani!".

I want to enumerate the things why I have chosen Sen. Gordon and Mayor Fernando but the video below can summarize them up.

Like Senator Gordon, Mayor Fernando transformed Marikina into a model city, a city where discipline is still a norm. As an MMDA chair, we've all seen changes. Foot bridges, urinals, U-Turn slots, bus terminals, street lights, etc. Did you see those changes when Mayor Binay was still MMDA chair? :P

Anyway, I've already completed my list of senators and councilors. If you still haven't completed yours, please include my "grandpa" Ralph Recto in your list. Believe it or not, he's my grandfather if you'll follow our family tree. Also if you're from Quezon City's District 1, please include in your list of councilors Col. Raul "Toots" Medina, and Onyx Crisologo. District 2 peeps, please vote for Candy Medina for councilor too :~)
