It's still 53 years in the future before we earthlings experience first contact with Vulcans, but 14 people inside Nokia had already got their hands on a fully working Star Trek Communicator.
The guys at Nokia Designs modified a Nokia N76 mobile phone to look like the 1960s version of the Star Trek Communicator. Complete with the famous "chirping" sound when flipping open the phone, Star Trek wallpapers, and an embossed Star Trek logo.
This phone is just a prototype and according to the guy who bought this on eBay, there were only 14 units made. Nokia World 2010 could have been more exciting if Nokia showed this prototype. Hey Nokia, we trekkies want this phone!
